Which Business Models for a Frugal Government? First of all, let’s define what a Business Model is.

“A business model describes the rationale of how an organization creates, delivers, and captures value” (Osterwalder and Pigneur 2010)

In our vision, such organization is a Frugal Government body (or agency) and value is defined as benefits relative to costs, not just benefits alone. Additionally, value can be economic, social, or take other forms (e.g. a clean air, strengthening of democracy, justice, political consensus, etc.).
